Terms of Use
Effective: 2026-05-24 · Edition reference: SPI-2026-03
1. Acceptance
By accessing Specialty Peptide Index ("SPI", "the site"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the site. SPI reserves the right to update these Terms at any time; continued use after publication of a revised version constitutes acceptance.
2. Research-only reference
All content published on SPI describes research-grade compounds used in laboratory settings. Nothing on this site constitutes medical advice, prescription guidance, diagnostic information, treatment recommendation, or an offer to sell any product. The compounds referenced in the Index are not approved by the FDA for human therapeutic use except where explicitly noted (for example, bremelanotide as Vyleesi under the FDA-approved prescription product). Researchers are responsible for complying with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations governing the procurement and use of research chemicals.
3. No commercial endorsement
SPI's rankings reflect the editorial application of a published methodology to publicly available vendor data. Rankings are not endorsements, recommendations, or guarantees of vendor performance. Vendor characteristics — pricing, SKU availability, documentation infrastructure — may change after publication; researchers should verify current data directly with each vendor before any purchase decision.
4. Third-party links
The site contains links to third-party websites (vendor storefronts, regulatory bodies, academic citations). SPI does not control these sites and is not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, security, or privacy practices. Following any external link is at your own risk.
5. Intellectual property
The editorial content of SPI — including text, scoring rubrics, layout, the SPI mark, and aggregated comparison tables — is the intellectual property of Specialty Peptide Index. Brief excerpts may be quoted for non-commercial reference with attribution. Wholesale reproduction or redistribution requires written permission. Vendor names, logos, and product information referenced in entries belong to the respective vendors and are used here in a descriptive editorial capacity.
6. Limitation of liability
SPI provides information on an "as is" basis without warranty of any kind, express or implied. SPI and its editorial contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the site, including but not limited to losses arising from reliance on vendor data, ranking outcomes, or compound information.
7. Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by applicable jurisdictional law. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of the operator's principal place of business.
